This Yemeni restaurant is an absolute gem and our go-to spot in Fresno! The food is incredible—authentic, fresh, and packed with amazing flavors that make every bite memorable. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, with thoughtful touches like a handwashing sink in the dining area, a convenience common in Muslim and Asian countries but rare here. The service is fantastic, especially the young man who is always polite and attentive, ensuring everything is perfect. While it’s a little hard to find at first—it’s behind a car dealership and next to a hotel, sharing a parking lot with the dealership—it’s absolutely worth the effort. It’s halal, delicious, and a must-visit for anyone looking for amazing food and warm hospitality!

The Hadramout restaurant is a . Low key restaurant right off of a busy street. The dining area is large and the restaurant was clean. The people working the front desk were all friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! I got a plate with grilled chicken and rice with a salad. I was told in advance that it would take 25 minutes, but good food usually takes time. The chicken was a bit overcooked but nonetheless delicious. The rice was delicious and very well seasoned with a bit of spice to it. I went back a second time and got the chicken shawarma and it was perfect. The meal came with side of fries. The portion sizes were perfect and filling. I was also given a side of white sauce(garlic) that was a great addition to the meal. I will definitely be back to try out several more items from their extensive menu. The food prices are also very reasonable!

This is my choice for Best of Fresno. The food was excellent as was the service. I had the kabobs and was impressed with the flavor. And the portions are big for the price. The waiter was a teenager who is friendly, polite and very competent. The service I received from him was superior to service I receive from some who have been doing it for years. The indoor/outdoor seating is a plus during this time of the year when it's cooling down.

Hadramaut Restaurant in Fresno, California, I wasn’t really expecting much but this place really surprised me with your flavors. This small, family-run Yemeni spot may seem like a hole-in-the-wall, but the food quality is nothing short of fantastic. I couldn’t stop eating! Their lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the lamb stew was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Beyond the amazing food, the customer service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall warm and welcoming experience. Ilyas the waiter made sure everything was great. While the restaurant itself is small and easy to overlook, it’s clear that the focus is on delivering incredible authentic Yemeni food food. If you’re in Fresno and looking for authentic Yemeni cuisine, Hadramaut Restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

What an amazing find! We were driving from Yosemite to Aneheim when we found this gem on Google maps. Food is beyond delicious. We got land for both dishes that came with soup and salad and bread. Also Arabic tea. Everything was too delicious. If I could give them a 10, I would!
